Who is pappa hoppa? Depends on the day and the mood. I am a son, husband, father, and grandfather. I make my living working in IT.
I live in Nashville, Tennessee. While I am not a true “Nashville Native”, I have lived here since 1981. I have seen Nashville grow from a big town with a small town environment, to a large city. When I moved to Nashville, we had the Nashville Sounds, who at that time were a Double A team, the Nashville Knights hockey team and Vanderbilt and other small college sport teams. Now the Nashville Sounds are a Triple A team for the Milwaukee Brewers. We now have a NHL team the Nashville Predators, a NFL team the Tennessee Titans, MLS team the Nashville Soccer Club, an arena football team the Nashville Kats, as well as those same college teams.
I have been married to my wonderful wife since 2000. Between us we have four wonderful children, and three grandsons. They are my life! I love all of our children. I will probably talk about our family to some degree.
I grew up Southern Baptist, then I joined the Church of Christ and currently I am not sure what my faith is. That will be something that I will work on through this blog. The last few years have really shaken my faith in the church, while I still have faith in God. I am trying to resolve that and find where I am now.
IT is something that I do to pay the bills. I am not a true computer geek, but try to make a living doing it. Some days are better than others.
These blogs will be all over the place, my faith, my family, sports, and maybe even some politics. I will also be struggling with trying to get healthy, I am overweight right now and I need to have a better lifestyle.
